Vote: Which Bruins Player Most Deserves the EA Sports NHL 13 Cover? The Boston Bruins have only six games left in the 2011-2012 NHL season, and with the way they are playing now, the playoffs couldn’t come sooner.

As of late, the team has been playing fantastic team hockey and are currently riding a three-game winning streak. Thanks in large part to Tim Thomas‘ stellar play between the pipes, as well as Zdeno Chara‘s dominance in all three zones of the ice.

Not only has the defense been hot in recent weeks, the offense finally broke out of a scoring drought and the B’s are now averaging four goals per game over their past five games. Milan Lucic and Tyler Seguin have both benefited from playing with center David Krejci on the first line, and now that Rich Peverley is back on the second line, Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron are causing mayhem for opponents all over the ice.

But enough about real hockey. Let’s talk about the video game version, where winning a Stanley Cup with the Boston Bruins is something that can be done every day of the year.

EA Sports is anxiously awaiting the playoffs as well so they can decide which NHL superstar should be front and center on the upcoming NHL ’13.

Obviously names like Evgeni Malkin, Steven Stamkos, or even Brian Elliot will be thrown around in the conversation, but if you had to vote for a Boston Bruins player to be on the cover, who would you pick?
