No one really knows what to expect from Yoenis Cespedes this season.

The Cuban defector has officially become a member of the Oakland Athletics after inking a four-year, $36 million deal this offseason. But the intrigue is just beginning.

The 26-year-old carries a bit of mystique into his first season in the bigs. Outside of some now famous YouTube videos, most baseball fans haven’t gotten much of a glimpse of what’s to come. The outfielder is said to be a five-tool player who possesses fantastic — albeit raw — power. However, until we see him patrolling the outfield at the Oakland Coliseum, it’ll remain unclear whether that talent will translate to the majors.

Cespedes finally threw on an A’s jersey for the first time on Sunday. In fact, he threw on two A’s jerseys, as he was introduced before the media, and then took the field to work out with the club.
