Amare Stoudemire gets paid to attack the glass. But not like this.
After the Knicks' 104-94 loss in Miami on Tuesday, Stoudemire took his aggression out on a fire extinguisher, according to ESPN's Jared Zwerling.
Stoudemire cut up his left hand and apparently needed stitches after punching the glass casing of a fire extinguisher inside the Knicks locker room.
League sources indicated that it's likely Stoudemire will miss Game 3 and could even miss the rest of the series, according to a tweet from ESPN's Ian Begley.
Stoudemire had a solid night in the Game 2 loss, finishing with 18 points and seven rebounds as New York went down 2-0 in the opening-round series. But apparently the loss enraged Amare enough to express his aggression outwardly.
