Barack Obama Is Right When It Comes to Issue of Women at Augusta National Augusta National Golf Course is one of the most famous and historic golf clubs in the entire world. It’s also one of the most controversial thanks to its longstanding stance against allowing women to join the club.

For that, Augusta faced many protests over the year, and now it’s taking heat from one of the most powerful people in the world.

President Barack Obama is all for allowing women to join the club, a thought that was revealed by White House press secretary Jay Carney on Thursday.

“[Obama’s] personal opinion is that women should be admitted,” Carney said, while also adding that it is “kind of long past the time when women should be excluded from anything.”
