Bruins Come Out of Hibernation for Stanley Cup Title Defense, Welcome Capitals to BostonThe Bruins may have scuffled some in February and into March, but over the last couple of weeks, the B’s have really turned up the heat.

That obviously comes at a perfect time, as the Bruins get set to open their Stanley Cup title defense on Thursday night in front of what’s expected to be a raucous crowd at TD Garden. The first road block standing in their way will be the Washington Capitals.

It’s safe to assume the Bruins will be long past their hibernation stage when the puck drops at 7:30 on Thursday night.
