Fenway Park's opening wasn't the only major event to occur on April 20, 1912.
That day also marked the death of Irish native Bram Stoker, the author of the 1897 novel Dracula, which was adapted for film in 1931, 1979 and 1992.
Stoker passed away in London at the age of 65 after suffering a series of strokes, but not before he left behind one of the most famous novels ever. That same day, history was also being made across the Atlantic Ocean with the first game ever played at Fenway Park.
