Gregg Popovich Calls Celtics Guard Avery Bradley a 'Pain in the Ass'BOSTON — Count Gregg Popovich as one of Avery Bradley's newest fans.

The Spurs coach complimented Bradley in a manner only Popovich can after Bradley scored 19 points off the bench for the Celtics in Wednesday's 87-86 Spurs victory.

"He's a pain in the ass," Popovich said. "I mean, the game starts and you know what he's going to do. He's going to cut from the corner to the bucket and lay it in. He's going to cut diagonally from the top."

Bradley scored 13 of his points in the second quarter. He hit six of his eight shots in the quarter to help the Celtics whittle a 17-point Spurs lead down to 11 points at halftime.

"You've got to give him credit," Popovich said. "He knows his role and he does it very, very well. He killed us all night long."
