Vote: How Confident Are You in Bruins' Chances of Advancing Past Capitals Following First Two Games of Series? After a thrilling 1-0 overtime victory over the Wasington Capitals in Game 1, the Bruins failed to complete the full comeback in Game 2 and lost 2-1 in double overtime.

But is this loss really that big of a deal? Last year, the B's trailed the Montreal Canadiens 0-2 in a best-of-seven series before rallying to win the series and, later on, the Stanley Cup.

Tim Thomas has allowed only two goals in the two games thus far, which includes a full overtime period in Game 2. His goals-against average is under 1.00, and he looks strong between the pipes for the Bruins. Along with Thomas, the defense has stepped up its game and is putting in the dirty work to keep the Caps off the scoreboard.

The offense has yet to click on all cylinders, though, as none of the 25-plus goal scorers — Tyler Seguin, Brad Marchand or Milan Lucic — have scored yet in the series. Boston's power play has been dreadful as well, as the Black and Gold have gone 0-for-6 on the man-advantage this series.

So, with all that being said, how is your confidence in the Bruins going forward? Share your thoughts in the poll below.
