Ilya Bryzgalov is one of the most entertaining athletes on the planet right now, and that has much more to do with things that he says off the ice than what he does on the ice.

Of course, Bryzgalov really gained some notoriety with his repeated words of wisdom (that just so happened to coincide with a rash of poor play) on this year’s version of HBO’s 24/7. However, the Flyers goalie doesn’t just act that way in front of cable network cameras. He acts that way in front of all cameras.

The Russian netminder was at it again recently when he was asked how he would deal with the “threats” of Philly’s first-round series with the Penguins.
