Kaka Is King of Twitter Athletes, Brazilian Soccer Star Breaks 10 Million Follower BarrierKaka‘s impact on the soccer field may not be what it once was, but he’s still the greatest athlete in the world in one department. The Real Madrid and Brazil star is the world’s most-followed athlete on Twitter.

The former FIFA World Player of the Year (2007) recently passed the 10 million follower mark. He joins a select company of stars who have broken the eight-figure barrier on the social network.

Lady Gaga, Shakira, Rihanna, Barack Obama and Oprah Winfrey are part of the group of public figures who have more followers than Kaka. But as far as sports figures go, the self-described “Christian, husband and father who loves football,” is king of the world.
