Patriots Trade Back This Time, Pick Up Third- and Fifth-Round PicksThe New England Patriots were busy on Thursday night, trading up in first round to select two high level defensive players. On Friday, Bill Belichick and Co. pulled off another trade.

The Patriots traded one of their second round picks (No. 62) to Green Pay in exchange for the Packers third- and fifth-round selections (Nos. 90 and 153).

With just two picks remaining in the draft entering Friday's second round, the Patriots appeared to be likely candidates to move down. And Belichick proved the expectations right this time, as he moved back in the draft to help add more depth to the Patriots roster.

Earlier in the second round, with the No. 48 pick, the Patriots selected Illinois safety Tavon Wilson to help boost their secondary.

Wilson wasn't graded as a second rounder, but then again neither was All-Pro tackle Sebastian Vollmer back in 2009. Wilson had 81 tackles during his senior season at Illinois and is known for his blazing speed, running a 4.5 40-yard dash at his pro day workout.
