There are few traditions at Celtics games that seem to captivate fans more than “Gino Time.” Apparently, the players aren’t immune to catching Gino fever either.

Since the 2008 season, every time the C’s win a home game, a clip from the Disco-era music show American Bandstand gets played on the TD Garden Jumbotron. The video features a man dancing in a tight Gino Vannelli T-shirt.

During the waning minutes of the Celtics’ 103-79 win over the 76ers Sunday night, captain Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett were captured by the CSNNE cameras joining in on “Gino Time.”
