Tedy Bruschi ran the Boston Marathon on Monday, which is nice, but he also let his wife finish ahead of him, which is probably going to win him some bonus points around the house.

His official time was 5:26:02, according to ESPN's Bill Hofheimer, which means he averaged about 12:45 per mile. Bruschi's wife, Heidi, clocked in at 5:26:01, which we're guessing speaks more to Tedy's manners than which of the two is actually in better shape.

Wesley Korir won the men's competition with a time of 2:12:40 while the women's champion, Sharon Cherop, took home the crown in 2:31:50.
