Vote: How Do You Grade the Patriots' 2012 Draft Class?Three days and hundreds of picks later, the NFL draft is finally over.

But the intrigue is just beginning, especially for the Patriots.

New England bucked its recent tradition and made two picks in the first round this year to go along with a handful of trades and swaps that left the Patriots with a stash of new players.

Syracuse defensive end Chandler Jones was the first choice for the Patriots, selected at No. 21 in the first round. Alabama linebacker Dont'a Hightower came next, at No. 25 in the first round.

The Patriots then picked Illinois safety Tavon Wilson (No. 48, second round), Arkansas defensive end Jack Bequette (No. 90, third round), Ohio State safety Nate Ebner (No. 197, sixth round), Nebraska cornerback Alfonzo Dennard (No. 224, seventh round) and Northwestern wide receiver Jeremy Ebert (No. 235, seventh round).

New England certainly shook it up this year, and Bill Belichick and company made strong moves to shore up the defensive side of the roster. But could the Patriots have done better?
