Vote: Which Bruin Is Playing the Best Hockey This Series? The Boston Bruins are just about halfway through their first-round playoff series against the Washington Capitals, and already there are a number of candidates for this playoff's "Best Bruin" award.

At the top of the list is none other than team captain Zdeno Chara, who has done all that has been asked of him and more as he continues to shut down Caps stud Alexander Ovechkin. While Chara's defensive play has been incredible thus far, it's his offensive work that has given Bruins fans a reason to be excited. Chara's three-point night on Monday was capped off by game-winning slap shot in Game 3, which gave the Bruins a 2-1 series lead over the Capitals.

Another top Bruins defenseman, Dennis Seidenberg, has also impressed B's fans so far. Chara's defensive linemate has been dishing out some serious punishment so far this series, with his 12 hits placing him second on the team behind only Milan Lucic.

Two forwards who have played well above their pay grade in the Capitals series are without a doubt Chris Kelly and Benoit Pouliot. The pair of third-line attackers lead the Bruins with three points apiece (one goal and two assists each), while Kelly is a team-high +3.

Whenever there is a conversation about top performers dressed in Black and Gold, Tim Thomas is always at the top of the list. The Michigan native and reigning Vezina Trophy winner has been stellar so far, posting one shutout and a 1.47 Goals Against Average.

With the first-three playoff games behind us, it's time to decide which Bruins players has had the biggest impact so far.
