Vote: Which Celtics Player Has Been Biggest Surprise This Season? The Boston Celtics have turned critics' opinions around over the past month and a half with some strong play from their starters and off the bench.

Kevin Garnett's re-emergence as both a defensive stopper and legitimate offensive threat has received the majority of the attention for Boston's turnaround. However, the big man's impressive play hasn't been the only reason behind Boston's resurgence.

Fellow frontcourt mate Brandon Bass has also provided a consistent burst for the Celtics in 2012. In his first season in Boston, Bass has been a force on the interior, averaging 12.7 points and 6.1 rebounds per game.

Another frontcourt presence for the Celtics this season has come from a rather unexpected place. Rookie big man Greg Stiemsma has logged some quality minutes for the C's and really provided some solid depth off the bench. The 26-year-old center has finally found a place to call home with the Celtics, and his defensive prowess has certainly made him a viable asset heading into the playoffs.

Finally, there has been the unbelievable play by second-year guard Avery Bradley. Viewed as a bust by many, Bradley has emerged in Ray Allen's absence during the second half of the season. The 20-year-old guard has averaged 15.7 points and 1.1 steals per game over the final month of the season, and he could play a major role for the C's in the postseason.

There's been plenty of unexpected performances by Celtics players this season, leading to the team's 37-27 record and No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference. But who do you think has been the biggest surprise for the Celtics this season?
