Which Eastern Conference Team Are You Rooting for Now That Bruins Have Been Eliminated? The Bruins' season came to a screeching halt on Wednesday, leaving Boston fans heartbroken that the team's championship reign has come to an end.

The NHL playoff field is now down to eight teams, with the Rangers, Devils, Flyers and, of course, Capitals still standing in the Eastern Conference. So who should B's fans be pulling for now that their beloved team will be sitting at home for the remainder of the postseason?

The Rangers were pushed to the brink in Round 1, requiring seven games to knock off the eighth-seeded Senators. New York entered the playoffs as the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference and have been picked by many to make a Cup run. However, the team has become somewhat of a rival to the Bruins this season, so pulling for them could be difficult for some.

The Devils, meanwhile, feature future Hall of Famer Martin Brodeur in net, so this could be one of our final chances to soak in his greatness. But is that enough to back the squad from New Jersey?

And when it comes to the Devils and Flyers, both represent foes that have taken down the Bruins in recent postseasons. The Caps, of course, eliminated the B's this postseason, while the Flyers came back from down 3-0 in their 2010 playoff series against the B's to move on.

Bruins fans certainly hoped choosing a new team to root for this postseason wouldn't be an issue, but unfortunately it is. Which team is now getting the Beantown support?
