Adrian Gonzalez, Dustin Pedroia Looking to Maintain Hot Streaks Against Indians

Editor's note: The temperature gauge is a Bill James-created statistic that measures how hot or cold hitters are. We will spotlight Red Sox and opposing team temperatures on game days.

The Red Sox got back in the win column on Friday night, and it was due in large part to the efforts of Dustin Pedroia and Adrian Gonzalez.

The pair is on fire entering Saturday's tilt with the Indians. Pedroia has a 12-game hitting streak, while Gonzalez has hit in five straight games since going 0-for-8 against the Orioles on Sunday.

Pedroia and Gonzalez are hitting .316 and .283, respectively, heading into Saturday's game, and they remain focused on righting Boston's ship.
