Tensions ran high at a basketball game in China on Friday, and things escalated rather quickly.
An American team — apparently called the New Orleans Hurricanes — travled to the Jiaxing, Zhejiang province of China to take on a team called the Zhejiang Guangxia Lions. After some chippy play, the two teams went into all-out rumble mode, trading blows as water bottles came raining down from the stands.
The truly scary part came at the end of a video that captured the brawl, when a player can be seen tossing a chair into the stands, making the environment even more hostile. Social media reports indicate that the language barrier between the two teams played a major role in leading to the scuffle.
