Brett Lawrie Suspended Four Games, Fined for Helmet-Throwing Incident With Umpire Bill MillerBrett Lawrie's helmets can sleep easy for the next few days, since the Toronto third baseman won't be throwing them any time soon.

The league announced that Lawrie has been suspended four games and fined "for his aggressive actions toward umpire Bill Miller" during Tuesday night's game.

Lawrie had spiked his helmet on the ground, hitting Miller during a heated argument after a called third strike in the ninth inning of Toronto's loss to Tampa Bay.

At this time, it's unclear if Miller will also be disciplined or if Lowrie will appeal his suspension.
