Jenny Dell Excited to Compete With Tom Caron, Help U.S. Veterans in Run to Home Base Jenny Dell has been running around since returning to Boston. On Sunday, she'll be at it again, only this time she's doing it for a great cause.

Dell will be running alongside NESN's Tom Caron and thousands of other people dedicated to raising money for U.S. military veterans during this Sunday's Run to Home Base.

The event helps to raise money for the many veterans across the United States and Dell spoke highly of her reasoning behind committing to the cause in an interview with the Boston Globe.

"I wanted to participate in the Run to Home base to help raise funds and support the troops coming home from the war and their families," Dell said. "It’s truly an honor to run in support of this incredible cause."

Dell also joked about having a competition with TC when discussing her goals for the race, but she's remaining realistic about the experiencer.

"Goal #1: Beat TC. Goal #2: Run the 9K in under an hour," a very determined Dell said. "Unfortunately for me, TC is a runner and I haven't had much time to train. I am going to go out there, and do my best!"

The race starts at 8 a.m. on Sunday, May 20 and you can register to run or walk at Runtohomebase.org.
