Jonathan Quick Showing He's Even More Valuable to Kings Than Henrik Lundqvist Is to Rangers (Podcast)Goaltending is always important when it comes to playoff hockey. This season is no different, which is evident by the teams still vying for the game's ultimate prize.

Among the stellar goaltenders still looking to obtain Stanley Cup glory this season are the Kings' Jonathan Quick and the Rangers' Henrik Lundqvist. Both netminders stepped up during the regular season, and both are huge reasons that their teams could meet with Lord Stanley on the line.

But who is more valuable to his team?

Lundqvist was widely considered the league's best goalie this season, and his play was enough to warrant him a Hart Trophy nomination. However, upon further review, it might be Quick who means more to his team's success.

NESN.com NHL beat writer Douglas Flynn caught up with NESN.com assistant editor Ricky Doyle to discuss this potential Stanley Cup goaltending battle, and Flynn admitted that he actually had Quick ahead of Lundqvist on his MVP ballot.

The two also discuss whether Lundqvist's Rangers will even make it to the Stanley Cup, as they're currently locked in a battle with Martin Brodeur's Devils.

Check out this week's NHL podcast to hear about all of the ongoing Stanley Cup action, Brodeur's NHL legacy, Washington's big offseason ahead and what the Bruins have in store.
