Kelly Shoppach Gets Second Straight Start Behind Plate as Daniel Bard Takes Hill in Kansas CityKelly Shoppach threw on his running shoes and put on quite the performance during Boston's 11-5 win on Monday night. It looks like, after recording the first triple of his career in the win, Shoppach has earned himself another start behind the plate.

Daniel Bard is set to take the mound for Tuesday night's game as the Red Sox look to make it two straight wins in Kansas City.

Royals starter Danny Duffy (2-2, 3.57 ERA) may pose a serious threat for the Red Sox, though, as the 23-year-old pitcher has been quite successful over his first four starts of the season.

Recent Royals callup Jarrod Dyson has looked outstanding in his first 11 games as well, and the 27-year-old center fielder is someone to keep an eye on in the leadoff spot for Kansas City.
