Paralyzed Woman Completes London Marathon in 16 Days With Bionic Suit (Video)

It took 16 days for Claire Lomas to complete the London Marathon, but her performance was more impressive than any other runner's.

That's because Lomas is paralyzed, and she did the marathon with the aid of a "bionic" suit.

Lomas completed the marathon on May 8, 16 days after it began, according to msnbc.com. In doing so, she reportedly became the first person to complete any marathon using a bionic ReWalk suit.

As you'd expect, Lomas was emotional when crossing the finish line. The former chiropractor is paralyzed from the waist down following a horse riding accident.
