Robert Kraft Shares Emotional Note Sent From Junior Seau After Myra Kraft's DeathFOXBORO, Mass. — Patriots owner Robert Kraft fought through tears Thursday to share one of his favorite memories of Junior Seau.

The gesture was as genuine as they come. Kraft found out reporters were at Gillette Stadium, so he walked to the media room to reveal a note Seau sent him after Kraft's wife, Myra, died last year. The note was written inside a folded white card, which had "Junior Seau Foundation" scripted in red on the front.

The note read: "I'm so sorry about the passing of Mrs. Kraft. She was an inspiration to me. I have so much respect for all she did to help people lead better lives. I'll always be there for you and your family. (Signed) Junior Seau, love you, Buddy."

Kraft read it with raw emotion, and he noted Seau also included a "generous donation" to Myra Kraft's charitable foundation. The owner also recalled a time when he was heading to New York for Elton John's AIDS in Africa event, and Seau called him to get involved when he heard about it.

"Here's a guy who represented everything that we liked, how he conducted himself in an unselfish manner in the locker room," Kraft said. "No one ever squeezed me harder after every game and hugged me in the locker room. He just really was a special guy. It's a message to all of us to make sure we hug and squeeze the people we love and cherish them. To the people you love, make sure they know it every day."
