When there is a high-flying ball in any sport, nearly every athlete would do their best to make a catch simply by jumping. But not every athlete goes by the nickname “The Beast.”

Tendai Mtawarira, a rugby player for the South Africa-based Sharks, is better known as “The Beast” for his 6-foot-2, 256-pound frame and his aggressiveness. In a match against the Stormers last week, Mtawarira showed off a new way to reach a ball that was too high for him to grab when he took his teammate and threw him over his head.
