Which Current Celtics Player Would Make the Best Coach or Executive?Larry Bird was named this season’s NBA Executive of the Year on Wednesday.

Bird, the president of basketball operations for the Pacers, was also named the Coach of the Year in 1998 (also with the Pacers) and is the first person to win those two awards as well as the Most Valuable Player award, which he won three years in a row from 1984 to 1986 with the Celtics.

It’s only fair to wonder which of Boston’s players is most likely to become a coach or executive after his playing days are over.

Is it Paul Pierce, the team captain? Or Kevin Garnett, who, with all his intensity and fire, could likely deliver some great motivational speeches? Could it be Ray Allen, the consummate pro? Or maybe Rajon Rondo, who hasn’t shrunk from running an offense of future Hall of Famers?

Who would you trust most with running your team?
