Bruins Prospects to Make Appearances in Boston Community as Part of Development CampThe Bruins are leaving the ice and heading into the community.

As part of the team's sixth annual development camp, Bruins prospects will be heading out into the Boston community on Saturday, June 30. The players will split into three groups and spread out to participate in various activities.

One group will work with youth hockey players at Cronin Arena in Revere, Mass., providing on-ice instruction and finishing with a 60-minute FUNdamentals scrimmage. 

FMC Ice Sports and the Bruins have paired up to put together FUNdamentals as a way to teach youth hockey players the essentials of the game and help them prepare as they enter organized hockey.

Group One
Justin Courtnall, Seth Griffith, Alex Khokhlachev, Torey Krug, Parker Milner, Robbie O'Gara, Cody Payne, Niklas Svedberg and Wayne Simpson.

A second group of players will be visiting the New England Rehabilitation Center in Woburn, Mass. They will be interacting with patients, playing games and doing relay races. The prospects will also sign autographs for the patients.

Group Two
Darik AngeliAnthony Camara, Daniel Carr, Tommy Cross, Justin Florek, Dougie Hamilton, Jared Knight, Lars Volden, Ryan Spooner and Zach Trotman.

The third group of prospects will be kicking off the Boston Bruins Summer Reading Program "When You Read, You Score" at the Tewksbury Public Library in Tewksbury, Mass. The players will be doing arts and crafts with local children, in addition to an outdoor activity. They will also be signing autographs.

Group Three
Matt Benning, Colin Campbell, Chris Casto, Brian Ferlin, Zane Gothberg, Matthew Grzelcyk, Colton Hargrove, Adam Morrison, Ben Sexton and Malcolm Subban.

The Bruins development camp runs from June 28 – July 2 at Ristuccia Arena in Wilmington, MA. The players have a busy week as they look to prove themselves as part of the Bruins' future.
