Bryce Harper Plans To Trademark 'That's A Clown Question, Bro' PhraseIt was his trademark phrase. And now, it’s his phrase that’s trademarked.

After a reporter asked Washington Nationals rookie phenom Bryce Harper a question that didn’t quite sit right with him, Harper justified his lack of an answer by stating: “That’s a clown question, bro.”

Those five words sure caught on quickly.

Under Armor plans to produce t-shirts donning the phrase, signs with Harper’s axiom printed on it can be seen as far as the eye can see at National’s Park and even Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is channeling his inner Harper to answer questions in Congress.

On Friday, Harper’s legal team announced they would be applying to trademark the phrase now synonomous with the former number one overall draft pick.

Now that Harper has jumped on the TM boat, it’s about time Rob Gronkowski hop on board and copyright “Yo Soy Fiesta.”
