Chipper Jones Farewell Tour Touches Down at FenwayBOSTON — Chipper Jones' farewell tour has been recognized in Boston.

After announcing that 2012 would be his final season — during spring training — the Braves third baseman was honored before Saturday's game. Red Sox owner John Henry and chairman Tom Werner presented Jones with a No. 10 in a pregame tribute.

The No. 10 plaque was off the Green Monster scoreboard. During the brief ceremony, the trio posed for pictures right in front of home plate while the crowd at Fenway Park enthusiastically cheered for Jones.

Through 19 seasons, Jones has belted 459 home runs, 1,586 RBIs and amassed a .304 batting average. He's a seven-time All-Star and guided the Braves to a World Series championship in 1995.
