Jarrod Saltalamacchia Hitting Cleanup as Red Sox Start West Coast Trip Against Felix Hernandez, MarinersThe Red Sox are kicking off their West Coast trip in Seattle on Thursday night, and the red-hot Daniel Nava will be leading things off for the Sox.

Nava's been streaking for the Sox since being called up in early May. He's hitting .315 in 41 games and has driven in 25 RBIs over that stretch. Catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia has also been mashing at the plate for Boston in recent weeks and will get rewarded for that on Thursday, as he's hitting out of the cleanup spot.

Salty will need to produce some runs for the Sox in Seattle, especially against former Cy Young Award winner Felix Hernandez (5-5, 3.36).

Franklin Morales has been solid in his two spot starts for the Red Sox this year, and will have his hands full with Ichiro Suzuki and Jesus Montero steadying the Mariners offense.
