Kevin Youkilis Gets Day Off as Will Middlebrooks Gets Start at Third Base in TorontoRumors swirled about Kevin Youkilis' future in Boston on Friday, but while the unsubstantiated suggestions continue to roll in, the third baseman will get a much-needed day off.

Will Middlebrooks gets the start in his place at the hot corner, hitting sixth in the lineup. The hot-hitting Jarrod Saltalamacchia got a noticeable bump in the lineup as well on Friday, as Salty will hit fifth for the first time this season.

Henderson Alvarez (3-4, 3.56) will take the mound for the Blue Jays, looking to shut down the recently streaking Red Sox offense. Clay Buchholz (4-2, 7.19) will get the ball for the Sox, aiming to get his fifth win of the season.
