Report: Lakers Trying to Trade Pau Gasol for Draft Pick, 'Established Player'There's a big man whose name will be swirling in trade talks during the NBA draft on Thursday, and his name is not Dwight Howard. It's Los Angeles Lakers power forward Pau Gasol.

According to ESPN, the Lakers are actively shopping Gasol to gauge his trade value. The report indicates that the Lakers are trying to trade the 31-year-old for a top 10 draft pick, and would also like to get an "established player" in the deal.

In addition, the Lakers also want another team to take on the final two years and $38 million left on Gasol's contract.

While there's no doubt that the big man can still play and contribute to an NBA title, the Lakers may have to temper their expectations if they are to part ways with Gasol on draft day.
