Report: Spurs Express Interest in Kevin GarnettPicture this: Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan teaming up in San Antonio.

It could happen, because as the San Antonio Express-News points out, the Spurs have shown interest in Garnett.

The Spurs reportedly tossed the veteran's name out there this past weekend, raising the possibility that he could suit up alongside another decorated veteran in Duncan.

Garnett's teammate, Paul Pierce, said following the Celtics' Game 7 loss to the Heat that he hopes Garnett stays in Boston, but the 36-year-old is a free agent. And while The Big Ticket could also ponder retirement, he played at an extremely high level when he moved to the center position this season. It wouldn't be surprising to see teams actively pursue him this offseason.

Garnett averaged 15.8 points and 8.2 rebounds per game this year, and the idea of a Garnett-Duncan combo is intriguing, especially considering the Spurs' deep playoff run this year.
