Australia’s Belinda Snell Nails Long Buzzer-Beater to Force Overtime Against France (Video)

With the world's greatest athletes competing against one another, the Olympics are filled with remarkable plays and comeback wins.

In Monday's women's basketball matchup with France, Australia trailed 64-62 with just 3.3 seconds left on the clock. French center Isabelle Yacoubou went to the foul line, nailing the first shot but missing the second. Australian center Abby Bishop grabbed the rebound off the missed shot and passed to teammate Belinda Snell.

Snell then nailed a hopeful, last-second shot from beyond half-court to tie the game and send it to overtime. The shot wasn't enough to power Australia to a win, however, as they fell 74-70 in overtime.
