Red Sox foe Travis Snider is heading to the National League, where he won’t be facing Boston quite as often.

Snider is headed to Pittsburgh for a pennant race with the Pirates, who are looking to add some offense in support of superstar Andrew McCutcheon. In exchange, Toronto will receive 27-year-old pitcher Brad Lincoln.

Lincoln is 4-2 with a 2.73 ERA out of the bullpen this year for the Buccos, while Snider has only appeared in nine major league games for the Jays in 2012.
