Carey Price is living up to his name.

The Canadiens goalie has signed a six-year extension to remain with Montreal for another six years, and he won’t come cheap. The deal, reportedly worth $39 million, will keep the 24-year-old under contract with Montreal until 2017-18.

Price sported a 2.43 goals against average and a .916 save percentage for the Canadiens last year, and his cap hit is reported to be an even $6.5 million per year throughout the life of the deal.
