Cleveland Indians Throw Birthday Party for Pitcher Roberto Hernandez, Formerly Known as Fausto Carmona

Roberto Hernandez, the Cleveland Indians pitcher who falsely identified himself as Fausto Carmona, is 31 years old.

While he was using a fraudulent name, he listed his age three years younger than his actual one. His date of birth is Aug. 30, 1980, but teammates may have their math wrong.

Hernandez' teammates threw him a birthday party with three cakes. One of the cakes had two candles — one candle with the number two, and the other with the number nine, forming 29.

He is currently serving a three-week suspension from Major League Baseball, but will throw a bullpen session in Cleveland on Monday.
