For a while, it felt like the Red Sox were being singled out.

Boston’s dealt with its fair share of injuries in the 2012 season, but as the year goes on, more and more teams are dealing with many of the same problems. The Yankees will be without Alex Rodriguez for a while and the Blue Jays are now coming to grips on life without catcher J.P. Arencibia.

That means that not only is the rest of the division having to deal with the injury bug, but it also opens the door for a mostly healthy Red Sox team to make a run. NESN Nation’s Dan Duquette has more.
