Jared Sullinger Scores 20 Points, Fab Melo Gets Huge Block in Celtics Summer League Debut (Video)Jared Sullinger showed no signs of any medical red flags while getting the Oklahoma City Thunder to wave a white flag, in the Celtics' 73-65 victory in a summer league game on Monday.

The 6-foot-9 power forward was very impressive in his first action for Boston, leading all scorers with 20 points while grabbing six rebounds.

Although he didn't look as athletic as his counterpart, Oklahoma City's rookie power forward Perry Jones III, Sullinger showed that he has superior footwork and touch on the offensive end of the floor. He showed off an array of post moves and a knack for rebounding, and even knocked down a three pointer in the second half. The big man also displayed some consistency at the line, making all seven of his free throw attempts.

Boston fans also saw promising performances from their two rookies out of Syracuse University. Seven-foot center Fab Melo recorded two blocks, showing great footwork and timing on a pin against the backboard in the video below. He only played 14 minutes (compared to Sullinger's 24 minutes), grabbing two rebounds while also scoring two points.

Kris Joseph came away with two steals while dropping seven points, also grabbing four rebounds in over 17 minutes of play. However, he missed both of his 3-point attempts and also committed three turnovers.

When all was said and done with the victory, Sullinger looked like a player ready to make an impact in the NBA, while Melo and Joseph showed signs of great play that will develop throughout the offseason.
