Jason Terry Loves Celtics''Championship Pedigree,' Wants to See Ray Allen Stick Around in BostonAll signs point to Jason Terry joining the Celtics, and he's thrilled to become part of a winning tradition.

"I just love that they have a championship pedigree," Terry told FOX Sports Florida. "And I think their point guard [Rajon Rondo] is the best in the business at controlling both ends of the floor. And they've got Hall of Famers."

Terry, who can play both guard spots, would also like to see Ray Allen remain in the mix in Boston. Allen is reportedly visiting with the Heat and Clippers, but the Celtics remain focused on re-signing the veteran sharpshooter.

"That wouldn't hurt," Terry said of re-signing Allen.

Terry's deal with Boston is reportedly expected to be for three years and $15.675 million. He can't officially sign until the league completes its audit on July 11, but he sounds like a man ready to get down to work.
