Jeremy Lin Will Have to Keep Waiting on Knicks, Who Avoid Houston's Offer SheetThe Jeremy Lin saga may have just taken a turn from the Linsane to the surreal.

Lin signed an offer sheet from the Rockets on Saturday, and the Knicks have three days to match — but the clock doesn't start ticking on that deadline until the Knicks actually physically have the offer sheet in hand. They have seemingly done everything possible to avoid that happening, according to the Houston Chronicle's Jonathan Feigen via SportsGrid.

A courier from the Rockets was dispatched to the Knicks' hotel to hand-deliver the sheet and knocked on doors all over the building to no avail. General manager Glen Grunwald, who needs to be the final recipient of the sheet, was nowhere to be found at Saturday's practice or game.

The Rockets had also sent the offer sheet by FedEx to the Knicks' offices in New York but were told that Grunwald needed to receive it himself.

One can only speculate as to why the Knicks are dragging this out even longer — especially with the trade for Raymond Felton they just negotiated with the Trail Blazers — but the situation is so ridiculous that sitting back and watching the "drama" play out is worth it.
