The Los Angeles Kings' official Twitter feed made plenty of waves on the team's way to the Stanley Cup this spring, humorously taking shots at the rivals the Kings dispatched en route to the franchise's first championship.
That drew a mixed reaction from the Twitter world, particularly a post during the Kings' opening-round upset of the top-seeded Vancouver Canucks that read, "To everyone in Canada outside of BC, you're welcome."
Well, even long after the final victory was in the books the Kings are continuing to tweak their playoff victims. The latest comes in the form of a video from the club's Ice Crew auditions, with the hopefuls delivering a "special message" to those rivals.
Check out how the Kings thanked the Canucks, St. Louis Blues, Phoenix Coyotes and New Jersey Devils "for the memories," and no doubt added some fuel to a few rematches, in the video below.
