Michael Bradley Scores as AS Roma Drops Liverpool FC 2-1 at Fenway Park (Photos)It wasn’t exactly the type of pitch fans are used to seeing at Fenway Park.

Instead of a ball being hurled off a mound, for one day the hallowed baseball field at Fenway Park was turned into a soccer pitch on Wednesday for Liverpool FC’s game against AS Roma.

American midfielder Michael Bradley gave AS Roma the early lead, but it was Alessandro Florenzi who ultimately put the Italians ahead for good. Two second-half goals were enough to push Roma past Liverpool’s stingy defense and give it a 2-1 win in the friendly.

A crowd of 37,169 showed up to take in the game, where they also saw Liverpool’s lone goal scored by Charlie Adam in the 80th minute.
