Michael Vick Still Thinks Eagles Have ‘Chance to Develop a Dynasty’ (Video)

The Philadelphia Eagles entered the 2011 season with great expectations placed upon them by themselves, the media and fans, as a big offseason had them ready to become a "Dream Team."

They instead underachieved, perhaps more than any other team in football, going just 8-8 and missing the playoffs.

However, that's not keeping quarterback Michael Vick from having high expectations for his team moving forward.

"When I look at our football team and we have on paper, I think about when I was growing up and the great San Francisco 49er teams, the great Green Bay Packer teams, and the great Dallas Cowboy teams, how they just positioned themselves to compete and be one of the best teams out there," Vick told CSN Philly.

"I think we have a chance to be that. I think we have a chance to develop a dynasty."

Vick, who also said the Eagles are in a "special place" right now, also said that Philly would need a game-by-game approach, despite the fact that he was looking ahead to the prospect of winning multiple Super Bowls.

"I think just getting to the postseason right now is our focus," he added. "The Super Bowl is going to come if it's meant to happen. Some of the best teams have some of the best luck. Maybe we'll have some of that. I think our focus needs to be one game at a time, just getting into the postseason."

The Eagles are 15-11 in Vick's 26 starts over the past two seasons, each of which he suffered an injury in.
