The Red Sox and Yankees open up a four-game series on Friday night, and New York Post baseball columnist Joel Sherman will join Dale Arnold and Larry Johnson to preview the critical American League East series on Friday's edition of The Dennis and Callahan Show.

The Yankees lead the Red Sox by 7 1/2 games in the AL East standings, but a strong showing by the Red Sox could put a serious dent in that gap and would certainly give the Sox some momentum as they head into the All Star break.

Other topics will include a look at NBA free agency, including Brandon Bass' decision to re-sign with the Celtics.

Tune in to The Dennis and Callahan Show tomorrow morning beginning at 6 a.m. on NESN.
