Report: Greg Stiemsma Reaches Contract Agreement With Timberwolves, Ending Time With CelticsGoldiblocks may be done wearing Celtics green.

Former Celtics forward Greg Stiemsma has agreed to a deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Jerry Zgoda of the Star Tribune reports. Since Stiemsma is a restricted free agent, the Celtics could match any offer, but they're tight on cash after several other signings and likely won't be able to match what the Wolves are reportedly offering.

Boston has $1.975 million available in its bi-annual exception, but Stiemsma's agent, who did not disclose the terms of the offer, seemed to think that wouldn't be enough, according to the report.

The Celtics first made Stiemsma, 26, a qualifying offer of $1.05 million when free agency began.

Stiemsma averaged 2.9 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.5 blocks for Boston in 13.9 minutes a game last year, but he also battled foot injuries throughout the season.
