No, not Hawaii. But he is going back to the Los Angeles Dodgers, the team that originally drafted the outfielder in the sixth round of the 1999 draft.
The Dodgers have acquired Victorino from the Phillies in exchange for starting pitching prospect Ethan Martin and reliever Josh Lindblom, according to Yahoo! Sports Tim Brown.
This deal is the latest in what has been a busy lead-up to the deadline for the Dodgers. Los Angeles already acquired Hanley Ramirez, Randy Choate and Brandon League before swinging the deal for Victorino, who has spent the last eight seasons in Philadelphia.
Victorino is batting .261 with nine home runs, 40 RBIs and 24 stolen bases this season. The 31-year-old also has three Gold Gloves, two All-Star selections and a World Series title to his credit.
