Sandro, Neymar and Brazil Olympic Soccer Team Serenade Olympic Village With Song and Dance (Video)Brazil has forbidden its men’s Olympic soccer team from staying in the Olympic Village out of fear that they might succumb to “tempation,” but that doesn’t mean the players aren’t allowed to set the mood for the other athletes.

Sandro, Marcelo, Neymar and a few other samba stars showed off their musical talent with a song that caught a few spectators — and participants — by surprise.

Tottenham midfielder Sandro lead the way by strumming his guitar and singing lead vocals, while Neymar and Marcelo led the dance troupe.

It seems that spending lots of time on Tottenham’s bench gave Sandro a chance to work on another of his passions: music. The song was catchy, and it looked like his teammates enjoyed it. They even knew all the words to the refrain.

On Tuesday, Brazil manager Mano Menezes said his team would stay at a London hotel instead of inside of the Olympic Village. He wanted them to focus on winning the coveted (and elusive) gold medal — not frolicking around with the other athletes. Although the Brazilian men won’t stay in the village, it doesn’t mean they can’t play in the village.

Hear Sandro sing and his teammates dance in the video below.
