Fishing is hard enough as it is, but it’s even harder when you’re contending with others for the fish. It’s really, really difficult when you’ve got to worry about a shark making off with something you’re about to reel in.
According to the New York Daily News, a South Carolina woman named Sarah Brame was the victim of fishing robbery when a shark devoured the fish she caught while it was still on the line. Fishing in Cherry Grove, S.C., Brame attempted to reel in her catch when a 5-foot bull shark jumped out of the water and decided it was lunch time.
“I was actually kind of scared because I seen it jump and actually thought it could jump up here and get me,” Brame told a local TV station, according to the Daily News.
